Chapel of Our Lady and St Margaret,

Our Lady and Saint Margaret, RC, next to the gatehouse of the Hall. Built in 1835. The church is interesting for its fittings. Altar retable, a typical Antwerp altar of circa 1525 with carved scenes in the centre and the predella and painted scenes in the wings. Stalls are foreign, circa 1700, Communion rails, two both Flemish or French, one of them used as gallery railing. The stained Glass , a large number of fragments, including one French 13th century roundel and one fine English seated figure of the early 14th century. There is also a group of pieces dated 1521 and Netherland like or German, there are monuments to Geraldine Trafford, died 1860 during childbirth. She is led up to heaven by an angel as she is holding the baby in her arms, Sir Henry Richard Paston Bedingfield died 1862. lavish tomb chest and on it recumbent effigy of white marble.
