Belaugh Saint Peter Church, near Wroxham, square west tower, 3 bells, nave with north aisle, chancel and north porch. The style is late Decorated and Perpendicular. There is a fine oak screen between the nave and chancel with paintings of twelve Apostles. There is an ancient font of interest. This church is beautifully situated on raised ground above the river Bure. The 15th century tower has sound holes. Modern roofs and benches, and a circular Norman font with arches spreading over the bowl and springing from four columns and central shaft. Simple formaerly vaulted screen with twelve panels of the Apostles, their faces much defaced but otherwise untouched colour. Stuart table and the Arms of Goerge IV.
