Chedgrave All Saints Church, near Loddon, nave with north aisle and square tower at the east end of it, and small chancel to the south of the tower and east of nave, also a modern south porch. The large part of the church is Norman, including two fine doorways, the rest is mainly Early English with some later insertions. Chedgrave All Saints Church, miss match of buildings, lots of different walls and roofs, but very unusual in its looks, I like it. north east tower, south porch, nave and chancel. The twoer, which in the lower part is Norman, stands in a most unusual position on the north of chancel and with its east wall flush with that of chancel. The east window has a little old glass, (the Rouen glass) and the window is flanked inside by black traceried panelling with pinnacles. in the arch scalloping, a spiral-twisted rope moulding, and two zigzags metting to form lozenges.
