Dilham Saint Nicholas Church NR28 9QB

Dilham Saint Nicholas Church, this church has been very well rebuilt in 1931 but it retains from the old church part of a round tower, 15th century font and the Arms of George III. Near North Walsham, round west tower (fallen), 1 bell, nave and south porch. The tower has been twice rebuilt. The nave was rebuilt in 1775 and the east end of it forms the chancel. The foundations of the tower are Norman. The pulpit is of the tulip type with sound box canopy above, the font is octagonal, with I think a new base, the old one situated outside. The roof is full of angels, though my neck/back will not tilt sufficiently to get a great picture. For this i apologise.
