Flordon Saint Michael Church, Cautley says it has a south porch, nave and chancel, modern roofs and fittings. There are two windows in the nave probably pre-Conquest. 13th century knocker on the door. Stuart pulpit, fragments of 14th century glass in tracery of nave window and Hanoverian Arms. Near Norwich, this church has a west bell cot, 1 bell, nave chancel and south porch. Mainly of the first two periods of Gothic, with some parts of a Saxon and Norman church incorporated. Double-splay windows of Saxon date can be seen near the south porch and in the north wall. The tower fell about a hundred years ago and the four bells were taken to Tasburgh Church. Pevsner wrote of Flordon Saint Michaels as: a modest church without a tower, but a Victorian brick bell cot. In the north and the south walls of nave are Anglo-Saxon windows. The chancel is Decorated period with three light window, the chancel arch is shapeless, but probably earlier. The pulpit is Jacobean, with two tiers and blank arches; much stylised leaf work. There is some stained glass in the east window. There is a nearby Flordon Hall
