Halvergate Saint Peter and Paul Church, west tower, south porch, nave and chancel. Nice 15th century tower with good base course having flush panelling, two sound holes, about 20" square, on each face, the upper on having nice tracery and figures for pinnacles. There. is a 14th century crocketted arch to south doorway with side pinnacles, modern roofs and fittings. Arms of George I. Halvergate Saint Peter and Paul Church, near Reedham, square west tower, 84 feet high, 6 bells, nave, chancel and south porch. The style is a mixture of Decorated and Perpendicular. The base of the tower is ornamented with flush work, and statues of the Four Evangelists take the place of pinnacles. There are memorials to the Bately, More and Gillett families, there are also sevral palimpsest brasses from 1440 onwards.
