Intwood All Saints Church NR4 6TG

Intwood All Saints Church, west tower, south porch, nave and chancel. This very much restored church has a round Norman tower with octagonal top. There are Royal Arms high up over the tower arch, partly obscured by the organ, but could not make them out, (Cautley) The base of the tower is late Norman, the top part early 14th century. Most of the walls are of about this date, with later windows inserted. There are memorials in the chancel to Hudson Gurney Esq., and J.S. Muskett Esq., who restored the church in 1852. Also memorial windows to the Unthank family.
