What a delight to find such a beautiful gem of a church.

Little Cressingham, Saint Andrew's Church, Near Watton, the church with a western part of the tower now in ruins and consists of part of a square tower at the west end of south aisle, nave with aisles, chancel, and a turret on the nave roof containing 1 bell. The style is mainly Decorated. There is a monument in the south aisle to Viscount Clermont, died 1806. And another William Henry Fortescue of 1806 by sculptor De Carle and Son (Bury). The rood staircase is preserved.  Lots of this churches frontage are in ruins. But once inside its door, I was taken by just how bright the sun was shining. Dated Medieval and later, built with ashlar and brick dressings, the remaining roofs are of corrugated concrete tile and pantile, some of which is propped up against an outside wall. Its former tower porch has partly collapsed. It has a 14th century chancel, 15th century fragmentary tower, but as late as the 19th century north aisle. Little Cressingham, Saint Andrew's Church, Part of nave and chancel. the tower and two bays of nave are in ruins. The 15th century arcades are intact and the tower stands at the south west corner. It had a large west window and must have been a fine church. Now the only things of interest are plain piscina with foliated cusps and a little 15th century armourial glass.
