Oulton Broad Saint Mark Church

Oulton Broad Saint Mark Church, on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk, i saw a church and thought, nothing ventured. I spoke to a (Landoner(, Londoner in the car park who was attending his families christening. Then walking to the church I got so speak to the beautiful lady I assume was Rev Maggie Barnes, she was very friendly, just leaving and suggested I see the churchwarden, and yes, I could take photos. And what a nice church, its, relatively modern, it was consecrated in 1884, and was founded as a "Chapel of Ease" to Saint Peter's Church, Carlton Colville. Oulton Broad then became a separate parish in its own right in 1932. The late Victorian church, has a bell-cot and a chancel that replaced an earlier lean-to chancel in 1904. the beautiful east window is a memorial one given in 1965 by Evelyn Winter for her husband, Henry Frederick Winter Whitton Farm, who had given the land of Our Daughter church of St Luke. There is also a stained glass window to Saint Mark.
