Ovington Saint John the Evangelist church, a church with a square west tower with pyramidal roof, 1 bell, nave and chancel. The style is Early English and Decorated, and there is a fine Norman south doorway with one engaged knopped shaft and three orders above, and stoup on right of the same. There are late arch-braced roofs with no collars and now plastered. The feature of the church is the 14th century octagonal font, it has a traceried bowl and out of the vaulted corona (which is all in one stone with bowl) are protruding at the cardinal points, great carvings which look like the emblems of the Evangelists. The font actually came from Watton church.. Ovington has one of the prettiest rood screens, and fonts in Norfolk.
