Snetterton All Saints Church.


Snetterton All Saints Church, Near Attleborough, square west tower, 4 bells, nave, with north aisle, chancel, and north and south porches. The tower os Decorated, the nave and aisle Perpendicular. The chancel is 14th century and the porches late 13th century. The carved rood screen has been renovated. Many fine mural paintings have been discovered, but unfortunately covered up again. west tower, north and south porches, nave, north aisle and chancel. Early 14th century tower with niche below west window, and 15th century north porch with 13th century doorway inside. Simple 15th century octagonal font with panelled bowl and shaft, and lofty 15th century nave arcade (no clerestory) and windowson south side. Simple screen, vaulted on both sides, with double filigree tracery to all openings and crockets on central opening, all repainted. Nice late 13th century piscina with good traceried head and Hanoverian Arms.
